Building on founder Stacey Mayo’s pioneering efforts in coaching and her in-depth knowledge and corporate experience, our team of coaches has already helped thousands of people of all kinds of ages, backgrounds and experience levels achieve fulfillment and success in their careers and personal lives that many of them never thought possible.

The Center for Balanced Living was by founded by Stacey Mayo in 1995, based on the core principle that each person has unique passions and talents and that discovering and expressing these in one’s career and business is one of the greatest keys to finding fulfillment and success in life. The Center has evolved and now focuses more on the whole person and in helping you reach your highest desires in life, whatever they may be – from reconnecting to what you were meant to do, to starting your own business to becoming a Peaceful Entrepreneur ™ in  your existing business to making a bigger impact in the world while also making a good income.  Stacey works with people to clarify and live out their career and personal dreams an in a healthy, balanced way!

Stacey is an intuitive coach and healer and uses energetic techniques such as EFT, as well as Dominion Over Self and Transformative Healing Technique (THT) which are techniques she developed to help people get at the root of what is in their way, clear it and replace it with positive beliefs and action. Stacey also supports people in the area of health and well-being.

Stacey is a Master Certified Coach and a Certified Career Intuitive. She has over 20 years of training, consulting and professional coaching experience, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Tulane University. She is the author of the award winning book “I Can’t Believe I Get Paid To Do This: Remarkable People Reveal 26 Proven Strategies for Making Your Dreams a Reality” and “Is Your Ladder Leaning Against the Wrong Wall?” and numerous other self-help tools. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation, a certified Career Coach through the Rockport Institute and a graduate of Coach University. Stacey is also a well-known motivational speaker, trainer and seminar leader.

Laura O. Biering, MM, CPCC

Laura Biering is a certified professional life coach who coaches individuals, couples, business partners and teams who are hungry for radical success. Laura’s clients learn to take risks – big and small – in order to reach their goals and dreams. “It is by doing what it takes to claim one’s unique space in the world, that one finds fulfillment, joy and meaning, both in work and the rest of life,” says Laura. “In addition, by doing so, we give others permission to do the same.”

Laura has a varied work history – from opera singer to legal recruiter, from bank employee to ordained minister – and the client list she serves is just as varied. In addition to her experience, skills and training, Laura brings compassion for her clients, commitment to their goals, and humor to the process of achieving radical success, however her clients choose to define it.

In addition to being a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training Institute, Laura is trained, certified and/or licensed through the Center for Right Relationship, Team Coaching International, the Institute of Conscious Expression, and The Artist’s Way at Work. She is an active member of the Georgia Coach Association, the International Coach Federation, and a Founding Member of CoachVille. She also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music (Vocal Performance) from Rice University. Laura is passionate about good friends, good music, good naps, and her four, adorable, four-legged children.
